"It was very easy to rent with yellow door lets. When we were looking for a house they drove us from the 2 houses we were looking at which was really nice. The contract got sorted quickly and was fair. The washing machine broke a couple of times, and we smelled gas once and all these occasions they had an engineer out to us to fix the problem within 24 hours of us emailing them which was really impressive. The only complaint is that we were promised by the landlord that we would have new beds, desks and carpets, but this was not put in the contract so yellow door knew nothing about it so a week before we were due to move in nothing had been done. But as soon as I found the advert for the new furniture they got everything done really quickly so it was ready for when we moved in."

My experience with Yellow Door Lets was nothing but positive. The house I stayed in was comfortable and any maintenance issues were always solved quickly. Any interactions we shared were pleasant and the people were so helpful. Yellow Door Lets exceeds the standard set by other letting agents in Lancaster, and I would certainly rent a house through them again.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your help during my time as a tenant with you for the past two years. I have always felt safe and supported in your accommodation, especially as your team never fail to come out in person to check or fix anything if something goes wrong! I would also like to say a special thanks for all the help with our boiler in 1 Bowerham Road in 2021. I would definitely recommend your housing to new students – Thanks again!

I’ve just moved out of 16 Albion street and wanted to say thank you for the fantastic service we’ve received for the last 3 years. Any time we had a problem it was resolved immediately and we’ve been impressed. If we were staying in Lancaster we would have chosen you again. So thank you very much – we have really loved living in the yellow doors properties and will recommend them to any students that ask us.
