The house recently had a new shower room fitted, as well as an open plan kitchen/lounge with new oak style hard flooring and leather sofas. Free washing/drying facilities are included, along with unlimited fibre broadband readily connected for when you arrive.

The first eight weeks rent is half price, meaning that you have the option of storing your belongings or can have a place to stay over summer!

Prospect street is just a short walk from the city centre and has plenty of free on street parking, so perfect for students who wish to bring their car to university. The bus stop to Lancaster University is approximately 100 metres down the road, and the University of Cumbria is just around the corner. There are several shops and takeaways just down the street – including Hodgsons, the award winning fish and chip shop!

The experience was really quite smooth, any maintenance issues that cropped up were resolved very quickly and we never had any issues contacting the management if we had any queries. The only thing I would advise would be - if possible - to make it easier for a tenant to get a physical copy of their tenancy agreement.

"Thank you for everything you’ve done for us over the past 2 years, it’s been great living with you! Absolutely cannot fault the service I’ve received from Yellow Door Lets in my 2 years living with them! They responded to every question/query/problem with an answer or resolution within a day, without fail. For example, they’ve fitted a TV port in my bedroom for me, re-tiled our bathroom in order to fit an additional shower, replaced our tumble dryer as soon as it became faulty, and refunded our TV licence money – amongst other things. The staff are always as friendly and helpful as possible – Wayne even came to the house late on a Sunday evening when we had a water leak and remedied the problem immediately. As for the rooms, they are generally spacious with large beds and all the furniture you’ll need (desk, wardrobe, drawers, curtains etc) and if you don’t like any of the furniture, they’ve been more than willing to come and remove/swap anything as required. I would fully recommend living with Yellow Door Lets!"

"I am so glad I rented with Yellow Doors! If we ever had any problems, they were just a phone call away and usually came out within a couple of hours or the next day! The house me and my friends rented was fab for us as we all normally curled up on the sofas to watch a bit of tv on the huge flat screen that was included! I would definitely rent with them again if I ever came back!"
